Dear Sirs,

Our organization aims to promote universal tourism in Hokkaido, where tourism is a major industry, so that everyone can enjoy sightseeing safely, securely, and comfortably, including those who have difficulty enjoying travel, such as the elderly, people with disabilities, and those traveling with small children.

In Hokkaido, a place brimming with potential, we aim to promote universal tourism by collaborating with private companies, public organizations, and academic institutions to develop both the infrastructure and the skills necessary to promote it.

History

2015
The Hokkaido Universal Tourism Promotion Council was established as a voluntary organization. Set up the booth in the Hokkaido Food and Tourism Information Center at the west exit concourse of JR Sapporo Station. Started wheelchair and stroller rental business.
2017
The organization was reorganized from a voluntary organization to an NPO and certified by Sapporo City.
2025
10th anniversary of the council's founding.
